About the company
The "ELKON" Manufacturing and Construction Co-operative Society started its activity in 1961 in Lodz. It is the major manufacturer on the Polish market of the following articles:
Furthermore, "ELKON" offers services in mechanical working (turning, milling, grinding - of shafts, apertures and surfaces, cutting and bending of sheet metal, welding, heat sealing etc.
Apart from the manufacturing of above-listed articles, the "ELKON" Co-operative deals in distribution of the following items:
During many years of intense activity, "ELKON" has developed the production of gear-motors, couplings. The design and construction documentation of the offered articles is prepared in our own design office. Manufacturing is carried out in the departments of gear wheel machining, heat treatment, pressing and assembly.
For several years "ELKON" has been conducting a process of extension of the range of manufactured products. The products are being constantly modernised in keeping with the development of expectations and demands of our clients.
Gear-motors and reduction gears
The "ELKON" Co-operative produces two-stage planetary gears of the WR3 type, one-stage planetary gears of the MRE type.
Gear-motor WR3-1 - power - 0.25-1.1 kW, rotations on the slow-speed shaft 12-133 rpm, net transmitted torque 52-534 Nm
Gear-motor WR3-2w - power - 0.37-2.2 kW, rotations on the slow-speed shaft 11-123 rpm, net transmitted torque 52-775 Nm
Reduction gear WR3-2w - power - 0.37-2.2 kW, transmission ration 11.5-64, net transmitted torque 52-775 Nm
Flexible couplings
"ELKON" manufactures three kinds of flexible couplings. These are the following types of couplings: SE, Asp and SPz.
Series of models of flexible couplings of the SE type consists of eight sizes of couplings, where the smallest size of coupling is adapted for coupling shafts of diameter larger than 10 mm, while the SE-4 coupling size is adapted for shafts with 60-110 mm diameter. Torque transmitted by the couplings is in the range 98-7700 Nm.
In the SE series of models of flexible couplings, elasticity elements are rubber inserts manufactured of rubber with ca. 70° Shore hardness number. Along longer edges of rubber inserts, steel plates (so-called lining plates) are placed. The rubber inserts are protected by an elastic ring from possible falling out. All sizes of couplings are manufactured of grey cast iron.
Series of models of flexible couplings of the ASP type consists of six sizes of couplings, where the smallest size of coupling is adapted for coupling shafts of diameter larger than 12 mm, while the Asp-200 coupling size is adapted for shafts with 45-55 mm diameter. Torque transmitted by the couplings is in the range 40-400 Nm.
The couplings have pre-machined internal apertures. Fitting of apertures is performed by the end user in his own capacity.
In the ASP series of models of flexible couplings, elasticity elements are rubber sleeve liners manufactured of rubber with ca. 70° Shore hardness number. All sizes of couplings are manufactured of grey cast iron.
Series of models of flexible couplings of the SPz type consists of seven sizes. The couplings consist of left centre disk and right centre disk. An elastic element (polyurethane) is found between the disks. The smallest size of coupling is adapted for coupling shafts of diameter larger than 20 mm, while the Asp-200 coupling size is adapted for shafts with 40-75 mm diameter. Torque transmitted by the couplings is in the range 170-1400 Nm.
An elastic element (polyurethane) is found between the disks. SPz couplings have pre-machined internal apertures. Fitting of apertures is performed by the end user in his own capacity.
In the SPz series of models of flexible couplings, the elasticity element is a polyurethane insert with ca. 80° Shore hardness number. All sizes of couplings are manufactured of grey cast iron.
Heating equipment and heating elements
Electric heater Type TOS-6 may be used for heating production facilities, business-related rooms, storage spaces, laboratories, wagons, overhead cranes etc., with the exception of rooms with inflammable materials and rooms included in the explosion-prone category. Good technical parameters of heating elements ensure long operational life of the heater. After heating up to the specified temperature, the heater is switched off by the temperature regulator, and it is switched back on after a decrease of temperature.
Automatic temperature regulation guarantees economical electrical power consumption and therefore it lowers the operational cost.
TECHNICAL DATA
The back cover is provided with handles which are intended for hanging the heater up on a wall or setting it up in a horizontal position.
Apart from this heating appliance, "ELKON" manufactures also electric and patron heaters.
